San Antonio Appliance Repair, LLC (“we,” “us”) is a family-owned appliance repair company in San Antonio, Texas. This policy explains what information we collect on sanantonioappliancerepairllc.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we use your information to fix your appliance and get you your parts, and we never sell it.
Information we collect
- Repair bookings and part requests. When you fill out a form, we collect what you enter, such as your name, phone number, email, service address, ZIP code, appliance brand, model number and a description of the problem.
- Online scheduling. Our “Pick a time” booking uses Google Calendar appointment scheduling. The details you enter there are handled by Google and sent to us.
- Mickey’s AI Knight. When you use the AI repair assistant, the questions you type or speak and the answers are saved so we can follow up and improve the assistant. If you tap “Confirm my price by text,” we also receive your model number and phone number. Please don’t enter sensitive personal information in the chat.
- Calls, texts and emails. If you contact us, we keep the messages and your contact details to handle your repair.
- Website usage. Like most websites, we collect basic technical information automatically, such as pages visited, device and browser type, and general location (city level), through cookies and similar tools.
How we use it
- To schedule and perform your repair, deliver parts, and send quotes, confirmations and invoices.
- To call or text you about your appointment, including our call about 30 minutes before arrival.
- To answer your questions and give price estimates.
- To honor warranties and keep records required for taxes and accounting.
- To understand how our website is used and make it better.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we don’t send marketing texts without your permission.
Services that help us run the website
We share information only with service providers that help us operate, and only as needed:
- Google: Google Analytics (website statistics), Google Calendar (online booking), Gmail (email), and Google reviews shown on our site.
- Anthropic: powers the AI Knight assistant. Your chat messages are sent to Anthropic to generate the answers.
- YouTube: repair videos on our pages use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode.
- Hostinger: hosts our website.
- Payment providers (such as Square, Zelle or Cash App) when you pay for a repair. We don’t store card numbers on our website.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
Cookies
We use cookies and your browser’s local storage for website statistics and small conveniences, such as remembering whether you want the AI Knight’s answers read out loud. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
How long we keep information
We keep repair and invoice records as long as needed for warranties, taxes and our business records. AI Knight conversations and website form entries are kept as long as they’re useful for following up and improving our service. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we have about you, or to stop contacting you. Just call, text or email us. We’ll respond promptly, though we may need to keep some records the law requires.
Security and children
We use reasonable safeguards, including a secure (HTTPS) connection, to protect your information, but no website is 100% secure. Our website is meant for adults and we don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date.
