Whirlpool, Maytag & KitchenAid Repair FAQ

Why won't my Whirlpool or Maytag washer drain?

The most common causes are a clogged drain pump or filter, a kinked drain hose, or a failed drain pump. Many front-load models have a small filter behind a door at the bottom front that you can clean. If the washer still won’t drain, give us a call.

My dryer runs but doesn't heat. What's wrong?

On electric dryers, it’s often a blown thermal fuse, a bad heating element or a failed thermostat. On gas dryers, it’s often the igniter or gas valve coils. A clogged vent is a common root cause, so we always check it too.

Is it worth repairing my Whirlpool, Maytag or KitchenAid appliance?

Usually, yes. These brands are built to be repaired, and parts are widely available. Most common repairs cost far less than a new appliance.

Are you an authorized Whirlpool service center?

We’re an independent repair company and are not affiliated with Whirlpool Corporation. Our owner is a factory-trained and certified technician with 42 years of experience, and we repair these brands every week.
